Jamie Coates represented my living desires in 2005. I was seeking a one bedroom condo south of Rio Cuale, right in a Mexican neighborhood, not a touristy locale. We went to several places and came back to my current home, thought and discussed. I bought it once a bid was secured.
Jamie helped me diligently with the paperwork of each step for a first time buyer. He knew the process forward and back. There was plenty of faxing and securing money from the USA, but he guided me through it all with courtesy and intelligence. Jamie Coates is a one of a kind realtor. My husband and I dragged Jamie around Puerto Vallarta for several years, looking for a condo or home on the water (we bought in the mountains). Jamie never failed to have patience with us and never intruded in our discussions on price, location or the physical condition of the residences.
After spending so much time with Jamie (after using other realtors) one of the nicest things I can say is he never gossiped about the people whose homes we were looking at and never said anything about their lifestyles… this is so important because you knew he wasn’t talking about you either… such a wonderful trait.
Jamie can seem very laid back and uninterested, but he always was there when we wanted him and never acted like we were a bother and probably would never buy. We recommended him to people who asked if we knew a good realtor and they liked him too.
Jamie has become a friend and I still respect that he never puts your business on the streets. Jamie put us in touch with the best people and people with the same integrity as his.
