Hola! My name is Jamie Coates, the owner and author of this website, www.pvr.mx. I live in beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and operate an independent real estate company,Jamie Coates Realty.
A native of Canada, I moved to Puerto Vallarta in 1993 and proudly became a Mexican citizen in 2010. I’ve been involved in real estate in one form or other since purchasing my first house at the tender age of 21 while living in Toronto. I obtained my real estate license in British Columbia and started selling in Kelowna, BC, before moving to Puerto Vallarta.
There is no licensing of real estate agents in Mexico; hopefully, my education and experience in BC adds credibility to my professionalism. Please read a few testimonials from previous clients to better judge me.
Browse my website and I hope you come back often. My intention is to balance real estate matters with an anecdotal dose of living in Vallarta. My forte is not building websites and this one has proved challenging in the time taken to put it together yet rewarding just the same. I’ve done it all myself… and there’s plenty more to do! After scaling back my original envisions for this site I am left with a reasonably clear direction for future development and postings. Stay tuned!
